I found the MISURA infrared USB thermometer by accident on the internet when I was researching the possibilities of travel thermometers. Since I’m often on the road, I needed one that was portable, fast and had a long battery life
A thermometer that measures you by connecting to your phone via USB was a big surprise. The biggest advantages are the dimensions of 49x27x12,5mm and the weight of 12,4g, so absolutely perfect for travelling. If I compare this to the dimensions of the classic infrared thermometers that are on the market, the Misura thermometer leads the pack without a doubt
Another plus is the large and bright display, the battery-free use and the plug and play function, the thermometer only needs to be connected to the phone, nothing needs to be pressed and it is ready to use right away. Since I’m often on the road, even in smaller airports, it eliminates the need to find a flashlight shop somewhere. The thermometer works anywhere, anytime, I can take a measurement in the middle of the night in the desert. I also appreciate the fact that the manufacturers think of both Apple users and Android phone fans – you can choose a thermometer with a specific type of connector, i.e. classic apple connector, USB-C or mini USB. And if I understand correctly, it is possible to connect a USB-C reducer to the iphone. The device can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, I haven’t used this feature yet and I don’t think I will, it’s probably customized for foreign customers.
And now the most important thing, its purchase price is very sympathetic. On the online store where I ordered it, it was even the cheapest in its category. So the cheapest and the smallest at the same time. A perfect combination, so for me a big YES on this product. I haven’t found any bugs so far, I’ve been using the device for about 2 months so relatively short. But somehow anyway I don’t know what could break/not work over time.
