In recent years, several innovations in the field of mobile phone accessories have been introduced to the Czech market. Among other things, these innovations included mobile phone holders, designed primarily for use while driving. Each manufacturer has a different technology and different advantages and disadvantages. Let’s take a look at a few of them in this article, when we try to compare products from Apple and MISURA.
Apple has introduced a brand new technology called MagSafe in recent years. Now, all available Apple phones are manufactured with this built-in magnetic system, which serves as a way to wirelessly charge your phone as well as a system for attaching accessories, to the mount if you are currently traveling in the car. MISURA has also introduced a phone holder, but has chosen a different technology – an electric vacuum suction cup.

Both companies are pursuing the same goal, which is basically to charge your phone wirelessly and grip it securely. While Apple’s MagSafe uses the power of two magnets located on the back of the phone and in the holder to grip the phone, MISURA’s vacuum electric suction cup uses a vacuum that is created automatically when the phone is inserted into the holder.
MagSafe technology is certainly interesting in itself, but there is one pitfall. If the phone owner doesn’t purchase the original holder directly from Apple, it’s possible that the cheaper version of the holder may not have a strong enough magnet and could cause the device to fall out while on the ground. In these cases, the phone may even break completely, which certainly may not be a cheap affair.
What are the benefits of a vacuum suction cup?
Unlike the magnet on the MagSafe, the main component of the MISURA mount is an electric vacuum suction cup that, when inserted, attaches the phone itself using vacuum pressure. Modern, larger devices such as smartphones or tablets can therefore be placed in the holder without them releasing on their own. Even devices weighing up to 8 kilograms can be held via the vacuum. After placing the mobile phone in the holder, it can be powered wirelessly, if it is an older type of phone that does not allow wireless charging, then a charging cable can be used. Of course there is also a large hinge on the holder which allows the phone to be rotated at will.

Another interesting feature of the electric vacuum suction cup
We cannot leave unnoticed one small convenience that the holder from MISURA boasts. This is the built-in battery, which makes the holder work independently of the state of the car. In practice, this means that even when the car is switched off, there is no need to worry about not being able to release the phone from the holder or, on the contrary, the phone would release on its own and fall to the ground. The battery backup provides sufficient energy to keep the phone securely attached and also allows it to be easily removed at any time, using the side button, which when pressed, the vacuum is sucked out.
The main advantage of the MISURA holder is that it is universal for all brands of mobile phones or tablets.
